Any old 64 people remember this one? Had a neat display of a keyboard and lit up the note that was playing. Anyway.... has anyone written a k-player for the Amiga? I've got disks full of songs that I would like to hear. (I know its silly to want 64 music on the Amiga, but there WERE some good ones) Or... (Im not a music type so I don't know if it can be done) how about a k-play to MED3.00 converter? This is whats happens to a person forced to program in 8086 assembly for 10 hours.... - Ian Smith <<ims103@psuvm.psu.edu>>

there is a demo out called "100 C-64 songs remembered" that emulates the vic-][ chip and displays the title screens to games and also emulates the SID chip and plays the music. the guys did a GREAT job of emulating the 64 and the music sounds almost perfect (with only a few effect flaws) but never the less it sounds good. (i love those old memories) But you would think it would not be too hard to write a conversion utility for med with the new synth sound options. |Chuck Teschke | -Self confessed LEMMINGS addict!! |---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | USENET:chuckt@theborg.mlb.fl.us|"If i have 5 megs of RAM, then why does | | FIDONET: 374/1 | this program keep accessing the disk?!?"| |---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Lets go, uh oh,no blockers!, wait wheres my digger? oh no! splash,splash..."
