I expect these queries have been answered before, but any comments will be welcome. When I was running KS 36.xx on my A3000 I had the following problems. 1. Sonix would not run at all. 2. Dr T KCS 1.6a would not run. 3. DMCS ran a bit but tends to get guru #80000004. 4. Music-X 1.1 ran for a while, but then you lost control. All the gadgets and menus become inoperative. Now I have just retried all these with KS 37.74, WB 37.33 and find on a quick test. 1. Sonix seems to operate OK. 2. Dr T KCS 1.6a works. 3. DMCS still gurus #80000004. (Try selecting MIDI ACTIVE twice). 4. Music-X 1.1 still fails as above, sometimes immediately after loading. All you can do is reboot the machine. Do you all find anything like this?? +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Mike Lewis. cbmuk!cbmuka!lewism!lewism | | 40 Heyes Lane, Alderley Edge, Cheshire SK9 7JY, (UK) 0625 582762 | +-------------------------------------------------------------------+

It gurus under 1.3 as well, due to the way the muck around with the serial device...on 1.3 I could just use the 1.2 version...anyone know if the 1.2 version works under 2.0??

It seems that AmigaOS 2.0 has reserved one of the two timers in the machine for internal use. Did you try using Music-X with this other timer?
