A couple years ago, I started on a bold quest, to go where no one had gone before :-), and I reverse engineered at least a couple of the "hunks" in a DMCS score, by setting various options, saving scores, and dumping them in hex (one nice thing about multitasking is being able to do this without having to exit the program & re-run it each time...). I remember either asking the question, or hearing it asked before, and I'd be happy to share what I've discovered; who knows, if enough of us have been doing this sort of thing, and we pool our information, we may have enough of the pieces to make a reasonable approximation at the whole puzzle (or at least enough to tell the sky from the ground)! Please post or email your experiences on this matter. If sufficient (i.e., more than 1) responses are emailed to me, I will summarize via a posting, or via email. Also, I will hereby offer my services as collector & coordinator or some other such capacity, if there is sufficient interest to jointly tackle this conversion (or other functions). - Mike -- - Mike Shawaluk (oovvoo@mixcom.com) "It is a good day to live."
