One program that I know of that will do something similar to spectrum analysis is RGS (realtime graphical synthesis). It will read in IFF samples and give you a graph that can be modified by a variety of tools. It's main use for me, however, is for modifying and creating new sounds. A must have for sound freaks. Speaking of RGS, the version I have is pretty ancient (around 1988). Has anyone seen a later version?
