I recently found an .au file that I wanted to play on my amiga... unfortunetely
I dont know what it is, other than the fact it isnt an iff sound file. What can
I use to listen to .au files?

What >can I use to listen to .au files? It is a SparcStation/Sun4 sound file. On the ftp site ucsd.edu, under /sounds, are two programs. Iff2Ulaw.tar.Z Ulaw2Iff.tar.Z THe first converts Amiga sound to Sparc sound, and the second does the reverse. They are both written for use on a Sun4, or at least a UNIX box, not your Amiga. Just uncompress, and untar (tar -xf filename) the appropriate file, and enjoy. You may have to run the Makefile, as I forget if binaries were included. >PiRho- Its a state of mind.
