Hello. I am an experienced IBM PC computer user who has been cast adrift in the world of modern music. Another church member has an Amiga. The church we attend has requested that we explore the possibilites of keyboards to augment/replace a piano and organ. Any personal advice, or pointers to books/magazines/articles that would help us in our search would be appreciated. The church is in the San Diego, Ca, USA, area, so any good stores and salesmen to visit would also be useful. Suggestions of what type of equipment to buy/NOT to buy are also welcome. Neither of us are knowledgeable in keyboards or synths, sequencers, patches, or all the other possibilities available today, but are traditional (mechanical) instrument musicians and singers.
