Amiga musicians... I have a modest A500 and the AMAS sampler(8-bit) which comes with its software(which doesn't do the things I want!) Does anyone know of any good performance programs, hence a program aimed more at the playing of samples as opposed to the editing thereof. I'm looking for : * total MIDI support (like pitch bender, velocity and aftertouch, pgm changes activating different splits etc... the whole nine yard!) * multiple loop points (EMACS style Start,Loop1,Loop2,End markers...) * Envelope support (Standard ADSR...I'm not too picky with this) * A bunch of looping styles (AMAS supports what AKAI people call DRUM TRIGGER looping. Hence you hit the key and the sample plays til its end. Handy for those FRONT242 style quotes but I want it to do things like normal looping until I release the key, (and then release), ONE-SHOT, Alternating(Looping alternating between forward and backwards playback)... Alot of programs are out right now that don't have ALL the features I'm looking for in one package. If anyone knows anything, let me know! (If worse comes to worse, I'll just put aside a month or two and write something but I DO dread that alternative for I don't have time for it!) Thanks, -DAVEvade ps: As far as this is concerned I'm a musician more than a computer person(or atleast I'd prefer it to be that way!!) I'm into the cyber industrial scene so thats the sort of sampling I'm interested in!
