1) has anybody been successfull in ripping the soundtrack of
   total-triple-trouble by Rebels ?
If so can somebody post it ?
2) same thing for the KAOS soundtrack from the Budbrain megademo.
3) I downloaded the (few) MED specific soundtracks. Well, they stink !!!.
4) about U4IA : excellent work . I want more !!!!!
I close my eyes and I am in a warehouse !!!

Stink as in compared to what? All of those brunobox mods everyone keeps
drooling over, I thought were rather lame, IMHO. I have *YET* to hear one
module from ab20, that even excites me. I don't know what your musical tastes
are but I question it. There has not been a single module that I have even
considered as listenable. After about 3-5 minutes of listening to ANY module
I am grinding my teeth wanting to put a CD in. Yes, they are ALL *THAT* bad.
About the only purpose that ANY of them serve is as background music in a demo
or background in a game to keep the action going. As far as serious listening,
no. None of them. Not even mine.

Of course, as I stated in another post... I write MED modules. I DO NOT write
techno-synth. I have never written it. I do not like it. It grinds on me.
Perhaps that's why I don't like ANY modules out there. They are MOSTLY
techno-synth which is rather old and past their time, IMO.

I would say that the MED modules are no worse or no better than ANY other
modules out there. There are some particularly unmelodic songs I have heard,
but they both span NT/ST and MED modules alike. There are some songs which are
more melodic than others, but they all are missing something that I can't put
my finger on (that keep them from being 'excellent').

One last note, if hear that 'This is a journey into sound' sample ONE MORE
TIME, I'll barf.

It *CAN'T* be THAT great. Last time I took the advice of someone that says to
listen to a module, I was sadly dissappointed. Yes, I know you aren't telling
me to listen to this module, but saying a module is 'great' is like an open
invitation to go pick it up. No thanks, I'll pass.

Gee, I really love people who post3 screens worth of "I don't like
what you said, because I have different tastes than you" messages.
Just relax. Why did everybody in the world need to know that you
don't particularly like ST/NT modules?

p.s. Mr. Vai?

I don't get terribly excited about many of the tracker tunes. I got one from
ab20 called 'rainy night' . No thumping bassline, but nice and slow. It starts
off with sounds of rain falling and thunder.

I personally don't mind the techno-acid-house-whatever mods at times, as long
as that isn't ALL they are (I.E. the beat crops up occasionally, but it isn't
just lotsa base with a few sound samples thrown in)...for instance, even in an
incredible mod like "Scrambled Mind", the beat comes up. But it qorks very nicely with the music, and the overall mod is very soothing. I think the same thing
applies to mods like Spell-Amelioration (did I get it right?!)...VERY GOOD.

Just my $0.02...okay, so it was more like $1.25...
