[comp.sys.amiga.audio] KCS v3.5

pmiller@VTTCF.CC.VT.EDU (Paul Miller) (06/26/91)

To the person who was interested in the KCS upgrade, I just received mine.
only 4 days after I ordered it too -- it's VERY comprehensive, and probably
has more features than you'd ever use. I upgraded from Tiger Cub, a 12-track
sequencer with the Tiger graphic editor - very nice, but I thought I would
eventually need more power so I went ahead and upgraded. The 48-track
sequencer is great, and it has individual sequence and song editing,
everything can be chained and linked to everything else, and the programmable
variations generator is supposedly a fantastic music-creation/modification
tool - it has pages and pages of control screens, and both manuals for the PVG
and sequencer are about an inch thick. I haven't actually had time to really
sit down and sequence with it - there's just too much there to do much of
anything until you really read the book and know what you can do with it.
WOW. If you're serious about composing with MIDI gear, get the upgrade.
