[comp.sys.amiga.applications] MS-DOS Business Software

I must say that I wouldn't mind seeing Amiga versions of Lotus
or Wordperfect or any of the others, not becuase I would actually use
them myself, but because it would make the Amiga more attractive to
the business people hence helping to generate more sales in that area.
Word Perfect seemed almost brain dead to me when they brought 4.1 out
for the Amiga. I mean, it's mostly written for a TEXT based OS whereas
5.0, which they have refused to bring out for the Amiga, is more like
most of the WPs already out for the Amiga are like! Graphics based. Go
figure.

I work as a desk guard at Comerica Bank's Operations Center in Auburn
Hill's MI. We have Reps from Word Perfect, Lotus, Prodigy, etc coming
into the building all the time, and they all know me by first name and
computer of choice. I am a bit relentless in my pursuit of pushing an
Amiga port of their softwares. They are kind enough to pass the note
along and update me on what upper management says.

I think nothing short of a massive letter writing campaign is going to
convince these people that there are enough people out there
interested to make the effort worth it.
