I own Distant Suns 3.0c.1 and today Wednesday 16th I was able to view here in New Zealand an annular eclipse of the Sun. Well I thought Distant Suns should be able to replicate this given the right latitude, longitude, date and time. So tonight I put the info into the programme, selected the telescope option and whammo a pretty good representation of the eclipse I had just seen six hours ago. Well done Mike. Anyone I would recommend this programme to anyone. Of course it goes much better on my new hard drive along with the Deep Space expansion disk. PS It there a later version out. There are a couple of odd occurrences when I select a few esoteric modes.
