[comp.sys.amiga.applications] ZeroVirus

sss10@cunixb.cc.columbia.edu (Napalm) (03/25/91)

Well Ive been trying to use zerovirus the last 5 hours with no success. I have
a number of disks with non standard boot blocks and I wanted to save them into
the brainfile but wqhen I think it saves, it doesnt and I have to start from
the beginning <i have to do this to about 30-40 disks>. Needless to say I am
rather frustated and wanted to know if anyone can help in any way.

Also what are some good/better anti virus programs?

I actually wrote ZeroVirus, and I am concerned that you are having problems
with it.

Once you have learnt all the bootblocks you want to, you must go into the
BrainFiles section (from the main menu), and choose Save from the menu. You
should then enter as a filename a NEW name (not the same as the old brainfile).
That is all you should have to do - if you still have problems, please e-mail
me.

The latest version of ZeroVirus III is 1.18 - I should be posting it to xanth
in the next few days, or you can send a disk + return postage to me for the
latest version, at P.O. Box 289, Goodwood, SA 5034, Australia

I finally got it to work, apparantly it wasnt saving the brainfile regularly
despite my attempts to save it. it guru'ed my amiga 3 times before I finally
got it working.
