I decided to put this question to the net rather than bothering poor Matt any longer....I've been trying to get DNet 2.10 (straight from uunet.uu.net) to run on my A3000 and on my Sun System V at school... Everything compiles fine, but I just can't get the connection going. I call up the system with "run dnet -X -8 -m0 -b2400" and no problem, I start dnet on the sun with "dnet -m0" and my initial window closes. After a few seconds, fterm comes up and tries to establish a connection. A few seconds later, fterm closes and that's it...I try to run fterm again and it responds with unable to connect. (likewise with putfiles) I've tried forcing both 7 and 8 bit paths, with the same results... Any ideas? Suggestions? thanks... --rob
