[comp.sys.amiga.applications] Amiga encap. PS????

Sorry if this question is to bizarre but....

At work we use a number of computers including UNIX and Mac stuff. Using a
generic PostScript file to DISPLAY!! on a Mac is nearly impossible because
they expect encapsulated postscript. Many applications can print them
(because of smart printers) but I know of only Textures that can make the
translation to encaps. and display! them and allow their modification.

My stupid question: Is there an Amiga utility (preferably PD) that might be
able to make the translation? If Macs don't do it, why should an Amiga?
I figured that since alot of PS translation is done for e Amiga (because many
still have dot-matrix printers) and I've seen iff->pict etc.. conversion
utilities that possibly there was something that would make the translation
(and wouldn't it be neat if a Mac thing could be done easily with an Amiga
and not a Mac). Oh well, wishfull thinking, I know, but.....

(by the way, it's >toO< bizarre, in the first line...:-)
