I'm lookin' for a disk cataloging program which has these facets: 1) Can be set to read the current dir. and any sub-dir's files. 2) Can easily find duplicate files. I don't want to have to go through the catalog and manually find each duplicate filename. 3) Can handle reading archives. I'm hopeing for something that will allow me to find duplicate files in separate archives. If it isn't brain damaged, it shouldn't tag ".info" files as duplicates (Disk.info would be a popular number). It should also be able tag a catalogue entry with the archive it is in. Also, if it used an external archiver any "updates" shouldn't give that dreaded "incompatibility" problem. 4) Some sort of disk status (% full) would be a bonus. So, does anyone know of such a beast? I'm not really concerned with the costs (1 Zillion is definitly out!), but I'm hopeing for something that will definitly cover the bases. I've seen afew of the comercial efforts, disappointing so far. Any suggestions you may have will be very welcome. Thanks.
