A friend of mine has just received his Amiga WordPerfect 4.1.12 upgrade (these things take a while to trickle thru to cultural backwaters:-), and he's having problems with the new screen previewer that's included. When run, PV opens it's main window, then puts up a requester saying 'unable to open window' (with a single 'ok' gadget). Clicking ok causes the program to quit (but not close the window). It's driving him nuts as he'd really like to avoid printing inumerous draft copies to get layout correct (my suggestion that he gets a decent wordprocessor didn't seem to help:-) Does anyone know if this is a known problem (he's running Wb1.3.2 on a 2500/30 with 5Mb - so I somehow doubt lack of RAM's a problem)? ----------------------------------------------------------- | o John Davis - CHEM194@csc.canterbury.ac.nz o | | o (Depart)mental Programmer,Chemistry Department o | | o University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand o |
