This request is and aside to a request in comp.sys.amiga.hardware.

I have just recently upgraded to ADPRO from TAD. I have a GVP Series II
plus RAM card loaded with 4 meg of RAM.

I know that ADPRO needs contiguous memory to work

With my present setup I have 4 meg of contiguous FAST RAM
ADPRO grabs a large chunk of this on loading ( I know how to prevent this)
I am about to by an A2630 board with 2 meg of 32 bit RAM on board.

I borrowed a board and tried it out. For some reason the two boards are
autoconfiguring one after another ( under investigation). The 2630 configs
first at $200000 to 3FFFFFF and the GVP configs at $600000 to 9FFFFF

Question.

Will ADPRo ask for the all the contiguous memory starting at the top
of the mem list i.e the remains of the A2360 memory.
OR
wil it ask for the largest free contiguous block. i.e the 4 mem of the GVP
card.

I am trying to arrange another trial of the A2630 in my 2000 ) its good to
have a friend with an A2630 so I can see what memory is left after loading
ADPRO when I have both boards in.

Thanks for the help
