Maybe I'm the only one, but 'vi' is my kind of editor. But the problem is however that I can not find a 'vi' like editor with a wordwrap function. The following editors I have already tried: Stevie (version 3.7a, whatever, doesn't have wordwrap) Xi_unix (not a real 'vi' compatible editor). Z (a small (42K) 'vi' like editor, but with no wordwrap. it has have however a 'wm' setting that sould trigger the wordwrap function, but it doesn't. I tried wm=0, wm=-1, wm=1 and wm=78) Could somebody help me with a ftp address where I could find a true 'vi' editor, or at least with a wordwrap function. Or maybe mail me one. Any help is appreciated to: rtbakker@fwi.uva.nl

It does have a wordwrap feature, and although it isn't vi, it might meet your needs. dme is available on the fish disks. Rene' A. Vega *** the original renegade ***

(version 3.7a) I havent actually used this so I cant comment on its performance etc. Hope this somehow helps your problem!.. Vlod. cs_b152@ux.king.ac.uk

Vega I have the source to Stevie, a supposed vi-like editor (yes, it's Ami source). The archive might have included an executable but I doubt it. I haven't compiled it so I can't vouch for it's usefullness. I think I found it on Xanth a long time ago. Check at ab20 and see if it's there.
