Right up until you said OXII I was still interested, but since those people ripped me off to the tune of $204 on a product advertised in the Amiga groups and then never delivered the contracted "release version" to update the initial beta product, and refused even to answer mail or phone calls inquiring into the matter, I will take a large pass. If the authors find a real software house instead of a bunch of ripoff artists through whom to sell their product, please let the net know. Note the followup line. Kent, the man from xanth. <xanthian@Zorch.SF-Bay.ORG> <xanthian@well.sf.ca.us> -- OXII are slime, and I've said this all before. The net has a _long_ memory; rip people off at your eternal peril. OXXI is the Montgomery Grant of software houses.

All I can say in TTX's defence is that Martin Tallifer is the author. He
seems willing and ready to provide support and field question/suggestions on
BIX. He has been working on TTX for over a year and it is DEFINITELY not
vaporware. Now as to the accusations against OXXI I cannot comment.
Would the product in question be a Modula II compiler?
Well Martin can tell you some HORRIBLE stories about HIS M2 compiler which
was M2Sprint, and its subsequent mismanagement by Prefered Tech and subsequent
purchase by Leon Frenkel (porter of the ETHZ M2 compiler - sold as BenchMark
Modula 2). And now being sold by the Company that sells the Nexus SCSI card.
And all of the above companies were affiliated in some way with Southern
Technologies, the great ripoff distributor that caused many SW houses and
authors much financial grief .... Go figure....
Martin is a nice guy though :-)
