[comp.sys.amiga.advocacy] Subliminal message: NeXT is GREAT

When I ordered my upgrade to Word Perfect for AmigaDOS 2.0, I complained about
the availability of 5.0 for the NeXT, when the market is so much smaller than
the Amiga's, and they told me they weren't planning any additional development
   for the NeXT version.

I wonder what they'll tell me if I call them. Anyway, what WP does in
the NeXT market will have a lot to do with how much money they make.
Selling 10,000 to 50,000 copies of WP at $400 might change their
minds. For now 5.0 is pretty close to their latest release.

BTW: Did you call Lotus and ask them why they wrote Improv on the
NeXT? I know a lot of DOS weenies are still trying to figure it out.

I guess the poster of this message knows, but they said that did it because
the development environment was so great. They had tried to write it before
for DOS but failed.

Also, they did honestly make the claim that from now on, all new development
would be done on the next first because it is so easy to develop on.
