	I don't know where you got that information, but it's wrong.
Owners of SPARC 1's can certainly upgrade to SPARC 2's.  It's a board
swap.  Ask your salescreature for details.

	Suns have been "upgradable" for years through trade-in.

What about the IPC???  The point I was trying to make is that it is the
same situation as NeXT, you could possibly swap a board.  But for some
this was not an acceptable alternative; so why should they accept it from
SUN. NeXT has not said "We will not offer upgrade to slab owners when
something new has arrived."  They have not committed either way.  From
past history they might offer the upgrade.

My NeXT was upgraded by trading in the '030 board for an '040 board.
Trade in on a complete machine I don't think qualifies as upgrade because
they give you almost nothing for it.  Better off selling it  yourself.
