Pretty cool. I've noticed on TV that Chevy's Mexican Restauraunt has an advertising wave on TV featuring "One-Day Commercials". They start out with some CAM-Corder-based video, speeded-up, showing folks do silly things like run around, chase each other...whatever. They explain that they are featuring these things to try to get people to come in & eat their food...the commercials have a real "amatuer" (intentional) look...they state their food is better than their commercials, but they're working on them. About halfway through they do something like show a closeup of the SF Chronicle, zooming in on the date, to verify that it was, indeed, shot that same day! Of course they have Chevy's logo & other little graphic things goin on the screen. Now what gadget do you suppose they're using to shoot, edit, animate, overlay text, and get it on the air in less than 24 hours? Probably some new gadget for the Mac, right? :-)
