Please people no flames about the following post. I'm already wearing an
asbestos suit to ward them off.
I'm a computer professional (read I've done everything from sit in a room
and make sure no one walks out with any of the equipment to systems
administration). The problem is that most of my jobs were as a student or
as a temporary employee. I currently have no computer of my own and hate
it. I would gladly make use of the current postings for equipment forsale
but as of the 8th of Feb. I will be out of work and don't know how long
that condition will last.
A few monthes ago I saw a posting for someone who was giving away an
Amiga system but the posting expired before I had time to respond. So now
I'm asking if anyone has equipment that is just sitting around collecting
dust that either needs repairs or you just want to get rid of it please
let me know. I can't afford to pay much more than shipping so I'm only
asking for machines that you want out of your hair.
I'll consider just about anything although IBM compatibles, AT&T 3B systems
and Amiga systems are what I'm looking for.
