I have a friend who has a Tecmar HD controller with 1 meg of memory on board
for sale. This would be AN INEXPENSIVE way for a 1000 owner to put a HD and 1
meg of memory on thier 1000. This is an old unit but works perfectly. The
controller part uses SASI type drives which aren't used much anymore. This
means those drives are a little hard to find but CHEAP. If anyone is
interested you can leave me a message or call Jack directly (which will be
much faster). He did not have a price in mind yet but I am sure it will be A
LOW PRICE and a good deal for someone. Call Jack at 213-423-6808 (LA).
P.S. I know very little about this unit but will pass messages to him if need
