[comp.sys.amiga.marketplace] RLL Controller for A1000?

aa377@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Ken Kopin) (02/24/91)

I have recently come into an RLL drive, and I want to put it on
my Amiga 1000. I know that I have seen MFM controller's, and I
would be willing to use one of these and sacrifice capacity if I
had to, but it seems to me that I remember someone advertising a
controller for the A1000. It was real ugly, and the picture in the
magazines showed the controller just basically stuck to the side of
the Amiga, and the 2 drive cables running to the bare drive, sitting
on the table. It was advertised as "The cheapest way to add a HD to
your Amiga" (Cheap is good! :-)

Now, to my questions... #1. Does anyone have one of these that they
are willing to sell cheap? and #2. Is this company still around and
do they still sell these? I will assemble a "Kit" controller if
absolutely necessary, but I don't want to if I don't have to.
