Does anyone know where I can get a hard drive of reasonable size (>20MB) with some kind of guarantee for less that $200? I need to replace my crummy old SeaCrate ST 125N that died, and I don't have much money to spend. Any sugguestions would be most wel- come. Respond by email, since I doubt this is of general in- terest. ************************************************************* * Tom Hayko * only the Amiga /// * * tjhayko@thunder.lakeheadu.ca * (Commodore is starting/// * * * to know that) \\\/// * * * and it's about time\XX/ * ************************************************************* QUIT

[...] Well, I can suggest one thing: unless you absolutely positively cannot live without your hard drive, you should really save up until you can afford to buy a descent one. (Quantum seems to have an excellent reputation). Sure, you save money immediately on a cheap HD when you purchase it. But how much is it worth to you to avoid a prematurely flakey/dead HD? -- Dave Schaumann dave@cs.arizona.edu 'Dog Gang'! Where do they get off calling us the 'Dog Gang'? I'm beginning to think the party's over. I'm beginning to think maybe we don't need a dog. Or maybe we need a *new* dog. Or maybe we need a *cat*! - Amazing Stories
