Wuz juz wundering if anywun cud help moi... a friend wud like tu buy a set:68040/68882/68851 for his a1000, and needs a price range- most likely used of course (not enough $$) and what else would he need to add them? Please Email price ranges (or offers if any), and maybe prices in good order companies. He will be lucky to find one for $1000. Then he will have to figure out what to do with it. There are no boards for the 1000 or any other Amiga that use the 68040 (yet). In addition, the 68040 does not need a floating point chip (68882). It has a floating point unit built in. I think your friend wants a 68020 (my guess).
