I have genuine MAC 128K ROMs (4 sets) that I wouldn't mind NOW that Apple has scooped everyone's supply. How about US$250.00 (just ROMs)? :-) Raman ******************************************************************** * "I believe in a God which doesn't need heavy financing.", Fletch * * Raman Anand * * CIS: 73767,2161 VANCOUVER * * USENET: 73767.2161@compuserve.com * * a72@mindlink.uucp BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA * * (604) 591-5344 (Home) - (604) 522-1137 (Work) * ********************************************************************

I'm looking for an used AMAX II package (with the ROMs) or for the Macintosh 128K ROMs alone if someone wants to sell them. If interested, please contact me by e-mail to the address below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo V. If I were in the market for said ROMs, I'd run an ad in the local paper for broken Mac 512kes and Mac Pluses.

Before anybody pays another inflated cent for these black-market critters, they should be aware that there is a very nice (though rather illegal) way to emulate a Mac without Mac ROMs, or even with AMax. Some crafty hackers have put the ROMs and necessary progs on a disk, which doesn't quite run on a 3000 (at the moment) but runs fine anywhere else. Ask your friendly neighborhood hacker. -------------------------- Ben, in San Jose, the cruddy L.A. of northern California.
