[comp.sys.amiga.marketplace] Commodore 64 info

mc4c+@andrew.cmu.edu (Mark Choi) (06/06/91)

I know this may not be the right group, but a friend of mine is trying
to sell a C-64, with monitor, disk drive, printer and modem, and would
like any info he can get on what a good price for each of these
components would be. Also, if you are interested... .
	Thanks

The Commodore 64 could be worth two different prices. If it is an older one
like that brown or tan case it is worth about 50.00. If it is one of the
new ones, the 64C in the white case it is about 65.00. The drive is about
the same price, around 50.00 for a 1541 disk drive, and about 45.00 for a
compatable drive. The printer could be just about anything, but if it
is like the MPS801, 802 or 1526 models, you are looking around 40.00
there and more for a better printer. The modem is as follows: 300 baud
runs about 10.00, 1200 baud is running about 25.00, and 2400 baud is
still about 75.00. Hope that this helps you out. I run a small business
in the used computer market so I will look around and see if somone is
interested in your system.
