For Sale:
46 Megabyte hard drive. Seagate 157N-1 (SCSI), 28ms access time. Note
that the terminator packs have been removed because I have more than 1 HD,
but I still have them.
On my 2000HD with a 2091 controler, DiskSpeed gives the following results:
64 Buffers 512 Buffers
-------------------------------------------------
Create/sec 247,862 393,600
Write/sec 320,328 552,336
Read/sec 257,533 516,540
The drive has been running my BBS for about a year and a half now, and has
been on almost 100% of the time, so it has a little less wear as it hasn't
been turned on and off 9,000 times. I also have _NEVER_ experienced the
"sticky-platter" problem that some Seagate drives seem to have. Its filled
with approx. 40 megs of Amiga PD software ranging from animations and
pictures to utilities, etc. If your controller can read it, I'll leave
everything on it!
Comes with the drive it's self, 5.25" mounting brackets, and a small 50
pin ribbon SCSI cable for hooking it to most controlers/hardcards.
Asking $150, fairly firm. Drop me some email or call 303-697-0116
(daytime) and ask for Bob for more info, or whatever.
