I am posting this for a friend at work, but you can email replies to me at gsarff@wicat.UUCP He has an amiga 500, commodore 1084 monitor, and mouse to sell. The mouse is for an amiga 1000 actually, it has the right angle bend in the connector to the computer, but works and fits fine in the 500. He is looking for 450 dollars for it, but is negotiable. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I _don't_ live for the Leap! ..uplherc!wicat!sarek!gsarff

I have an Amiga 500 for sale. It has an internal 40 meg hard drive, which is very fast when compared to all other hard drives. I will send drive access times for this drive as well as GVP/Supra controller set-ups. It is an IDE drive with the AdIDE controller. I also have 2.5 megs of memory, and a 4 meg expansion board just waiting for 2 more megs. It has a nice clock, too! I have a Magnovox monitor with a tilt/swivel base, and a surge protector for the whole system. I also have a 2400 baud modem which works with any Amiga. And last of all, a keyboard skin to protect it from dust and food, or whatever might spill into it. Well, there is one thing I don't have connected. I had to disconnect my internal floppy drive to put in the 40 meg hard drive. I have been using an external floppy to mount my hard drive, and I found it very usable with just the hard drive connected. In fact, all that is needed to connect the internal floppy drive is a 50 cent cable which I have not ordered yet (I will do so before selling my Amiga so you won't have to worry about it). Well, I estimate the system to be worth $1500 if you were to buy everything brand new with todays street prices. I also have lots of software that is included, plus EXTRA docs for C programming and 3d rendering that I printed out in nice double-sided hole-punched binders. Well, I won't say anything about the price, but I do have a low price in mind, and keep in mind that there is software coming with it (300 fonts, C compiler, word processor, etc). :) -- David Tiberio SUNY Stony Brook 2-3481 AMIGA DDD-MEN "If you think that we're here for the money, we could live without it.
