Has anybody out there with an A2000, AMAX I, and real Mac Drive had the problem of the mac drive not working? (i.e. asking to format the disk and then spitting it out) I have tried every configuration of Amax and 3 different working mac drives so it doesn't look like it is the Macdrive's fault. (sigh..) I have heard that it might be due to faulty 8520 chips and would like to know if anybody with a similar problem has had any luck. (switching chips, buying new ones, etc.) Can anybody give a technical reason for why this problem is occurring? Would Amax II correct this or is II merely a software upgrade? II+?
