Help! My a-max doesn't work now that I have moved the one Meg of ram from my
A3000 fast ram to the Chip ram side. I also added 4 Meg of fast ram.
So far, I have tried "nofastmem" (on the Amiga side before loading A-max),
and various A-max "switches" on the startup screen.
I have tried these in all the possible combinations that I can think of.
Any Ideas? (other than the obvious- taking the ram back out! Ha-Ha 8).
Thanx.

Amiga makes it happen.... IBM, Mac, and Next make it monochrome!

There was a post recently (within the past 2 weeks) in this very
group concerning problems with A-Max and the A3000. I believe the
answer to the problem was to use the RAM setting of "User" and
limit the RAM available to A-Max to less than 8 megs; allocate the
rest to the RAM disk. A-Max chokes on too much RAM.
(you didn't say in your post how much RAM you had, but I do know
A-Max works on the A3000, and the amount of RAM is the ONLY caveat
I have heard of so far. Good luck!)
