Hello World! I have a Amax II, with no mac drive. I have system 4.2 and 6.0.1 . (I think) Multifinder says that my system is too old. As do most other applications. I figure that it must be the 4.2 that's causing this. I learned that there is a ftp site called something like apple.com I ftped them and got some system files-setting ups from them. The files are larger then the AMAX format disks can handle. So I used a ram disk. After 3+ hours of laborous downloads, I follow the instructions given to un-pack these files. The Amax crashed. Everything is gone. I Axed the dumb disk and ate it. Someone PLEASE send me a copy of the system that's higher then 4.2. Please.. I'm totally confused this mac setting up business.. My system... Amiga500 3.0 Magabyes Modem, Epson compatible printer. Thank you very very much.....!!!!!!!
