[comp.sys.amiga.emulations] Looking for good Atari ST emulator

clemon@lemsys.UUCP (Craig Lemon) (03/02/91)

Can anyone please direct me to a source (not source code! :-) for
the best, working Atari ST emulator that will work with a 68010? If these
programs were determined to infringe copyright or are illegal, please just
one person _TELL_ me not everyone flame me. Thanks.

I really doubt any of the ST emulators will work on a CPU higher than the
68000, unless they use a newer version of TOS ( <1.6) Atari did some
illegal things with the first few versions of TOS that made it incompatible
with later versions of the 680X0.

I could be wrong though, but I haven't seen any of the ST emulators in
action.

(And if the emulator does contain the ROMS on disk, than it is illegal. You
would have to go to an Atari dealer and buy the ROMS to be legal.)
