Well, I've written a program that can do it the other way around... that
is, reading standard Amiga format disks and writing the resulting file as a
Unix file. Works great, I'm currently implementing writing Amiga-format...

Anyway, it would be a good idea from C= to implement an Amiga-filesystem
under unix, that reads and writes disk and/or harddisks.

That's new to me... anyway, there shouldn't be any problems writing a file
directly to the disk and then using a simple program on the Amiga (oops,
AmigaDos, that is) side that reads it...
