[comp.sys.amiga.emulations] Mac drive interface is buggy..

mx8@vax5.cit.cornell.edu (04/26/91)

    About this MacDrive business....

I downloaded this very same file some time last December. I spent close to
a month locating a place that would sell me the necessary logic chips and
assorted parts. I couldn't locate the DB-23s or the DB-19s anywhere, though.
At one point I decided to just shave off part of DB-25 connectors (which are a
HELL of a lot easier to come by). But when I did get the connectors, I
discovered to my horror that the pin spacings were different than the
breadboard that was specified in the instructions. So in all, I spent a whole
lot of time and money getting parts for a project I never finished....

Just to let you know what you're in for...

Both the DB-19 and the DB-23 connectors can be purchased from a company
called Benetech Electronic Supply
       P.O. Box 400085
       Euless, TX. 76040

Well, knowing this is there an FTP site we can get this at? Would be fun
