Instead of using DMouse, I would recommend that you get MachIII.  (The latest
version is 3.1, I believe.)  With MachIII, you can tell it that you don't
want mouse-off active when you are on the JRComm screen.  Of course, the
disadvantage of this is that the mouse pointer won't go away when you're 
using JRComm, but at least you'll still have your cursor, while the pointer
goes away when your outside of JRComm.
