Our MIS people here at work tell me that a VT100 emulation will be enough to run the usual(most?) mainframe applications. We have a 3COM CS1 gateway into our SNA stuff and up to 20 people can have mainframe sessions on it from our ethernet. Dumb VT100 terminals have done it. These are both PROFS and CICS applications.
