I have a Hayes Ultra Smartmodem 9600. I have called the Hayes support line about upgrades of the Ultra-96 to v.32bis, but no one there will give any information other than `` We are developing v.32bis now at this time ''. They say that v.32bis is not yet approved, yet on the other hand, US Robotics says that it is approved.... I called their support line also since I also have an HST 14.4..... Well, that's why they have released their new Dual Standard HST-14.4/v.32bis-14.4 modems for sale, according to USR. Now, ... what in tarn nation and when is Hayes going to release some information so we know what us Ultra-96 owners are going to do with these expensive, and now only after 8-9 months, obsolete modems???
