Using Handshake 2.20, is there a way to get it to accept extended packet lengths for kermit binary transfers? On the machine I'm transfering from, (a decstation 3100, if it makes any difference) I invoke kermit -i. Then, I type set send packet-length 2048 and the program responds with a message "Extended-length packets requested", which is fine with me, since that's exactly what I intended to request. However, when I start the transfer, I still receive the short packets. Reply via email. I'll summarize in a few days. -- Frank McPherson INTERNET: emcphers@fox.cs.vt.edu --
