Hi there, I am using Handshake V2.12a, and I have tried unsuccessfully to download Handshake V2.20c. Let me tell you what I am doing. I am using Kermit in 8-bit binary mode. I FTP the lzh (lharc) file from ab20, then kermit it to my Amiga, then I use zoo 2.00. When I try lharc v1.10, it tells me that the CRC failed, and that corrupted data is skipped in unpacking the files. I figured maybe I needed the new lharc, so I tried to download the zoo file, but it tells me that it is an invalid or corrupted archive. I have never been able to successfully download and unpack any compressed or archived program. What should I do? -- Gaoffrey R. Well Heres' what ya MIGHT need to do. 1) FTp to the place 2) Do an "binary" command <----- VERY IMPORTANT 3) DO a "verbose" command <------ Not as important 4) "get" the files 5) For kermit be sure to set the BINARY mode to on. (See Kerman manual, i think it's the -i flag) dload the file to ya amiga, Woalia.. Ya might wanna get Zmodem.. It more "idiot" resistane. -- yorkw@ecn.purdue.edu Willis F York says: IF ya meat an Amiga Owner that says: "I got my amiga Just to play games...: there's only one thing to do...
