[comp.sys.amiga.datacomm] Help with Handshake and YMODEM

skank@iastate.edu (Skank George L) (02/15/91)

Help! Could anyone who has gotten Handshake's YMODEM protocol to work
successfully with 'sb' please send me explicit instructions on how to use it?
Specific examples would be greatly appreciated. Does it matter that I'm using
it over a modem, does it matter if it is a 7 or 8 bit line?
				Thanx much,

Of course it does. Save for the packet size and the filename/status initial
packet (for True-Ymodem), Ymodem is pretty much like Xmodem. As Xmodem,
Ymodem requires an 8-bit datapath.
