Someone on the net objected to Bob Dylan asking that one or two million dollars of the Live Aid fund be spent on helping to pay the mortgage on farms in the Midwest. I think Dylan made a valid request. After all the producers of the food bought to send to the starving Africans could use a hell of lot more support than what they receive from the purchasers of their produce. Farmers cannot make a livelihood because they are barely breaking even on their investment. It is therefore not inappropriate that Dylan asked for aid for American farmers who need support to produce the food to send to Africa. -- Jeff Fields {ucbvax,ihnp4,decvax}!trwrb!cadovax!jefff Pax vobiscum.
