[comp.sys.amiga.datacomm] dnet.device

[I miss the lineeater :)]

I have a question about a program that appeared on the bit stream
a while ago, called 'dnet.device'. It claims to let you use a terminal
program as a client of dnet.

First reaction: wow! VLT as a dnet client! wowowo.

So I booted up dnet, fired up VLT, selected dnet.device, and guess
what, VLT froze up. :)

ANyone has it working? how? How does the remote know to start a fshell
process for VLT? Does the unit number matter?

Runing Dnet 2.10.13, connected over an 8-bit path to a Sun 4/380
running 4.1. VLT was 4.8xx, didn't get the new one yet.

Thanks. Important: mail to vpopesc@neptune.calstatela.edu, not this
account.
