[comp.sys.amiga.datacomm] VLT buffer size

kgs@cunixb.cc.columbia.edu (Kok G Sang) (03/11/91)

Is there a way to tell VLT to use a buffer size greater than 32k?

Thanks,
-Kok

If you mean VLT's serial device buffer, the answer is you can't.
There is really no reason ever to set the buffer size to more than say
8k. In fact, that is a built-in limit anyway (VLT doesn't reallocate its
buffer when you change the size, it only tells the serial device to use
a different size one - clearly that one shouldn't be bigger than VLT's).
