Here's the situation. First, I connect to my campus net using Handshake. Usually to a SPARCStation 1+. From there, I ftp to ab20.larc.nasa.gov (lot's of Amiga stuff!) I use 'get' to bring the file to the Sun. (Yes, I switch to binary mode.) Disconnect from ftp. Then I use kermit to bring the file from the Sun to my Amiga. So far, everything works fine. It's the next step that causes problems. Files that are SHAR'ed, uuencoded, or compress'ed work fine. I can unshar them, uudecode 'em, whatever. But, anything that is LHARC'ed dies. I get CRC failures on every one. Now, I _know_ not everything out there is corrupted, it just doesn't seem to work for me. Has anybody had this problem? Does anybody have a clue how to fix it? I sure don't! Thanks in advance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + "Maybe he'll come tomorrow." + + "No, it's too late for that." + + "Shall we go?"
