Everything connects just fine, and the initial window starts up. Sometimes it manages to start a new shell completely and get to type a command. Anyway, eventually I get a checksum failure, viz: Chksum failure 63 57 7f 4b and everything freezes. Is this DNet reacting badly to noise on the line? Or have I done something wrong in the set-up? I'll go with the latter on this one. FYI, I use "run dnet -m0 -X -P0 -Z0 -8" on the Amiga end, "dnet -m0" on the UNIX end and I have an A3000. Someone mentioned a DNet patch for the A3000 last week. What is it, please. Thanks, Angst --------- "Hire you a horse? For ninepence? On Jewish New Year's Eve in the rain? A bare fortnight after the dreaded horse plague of Old London Town?
