Newsgroups: comp.sys.amiga.telecom Subject: Supra Modem upgrades References: Sender: Followup-To: Distribution: world Organization: CSE Dept., UC San Diego Keywords: As a recent article in comp.sys.amiga.announce mentions, Supra has released some new modems -- SupraModem 2400 plus (MNP2-5, V.42bis), SupraModem 2400zi Plus (Same, but internal), and SupraModem 2400 MNP (no V.42bis). I called the sales number listed in the posting, and got some info on the upgrade program. You can trade your current SupraModem for a SupraModem 2400 Plus for $129.95. You can send in your modem with a check, and they'll send you the new modem. Or you can give them a Credit card number, and they'll send you the new modem right away; when they receive your old Supra modem, they'll credit your account with $129.95. Good thinking! I also asked if they have the SupraModem Plus in stock -- she said, "No, but we expect some this week". The number to call is 800-727-8772. You should call Supra at 800-727-8772 to get an RMA number before sending your modem in for an upgrade. [Disclaimer -- I have no affiliation with Supra, except as a satisfied customer. This info was given to me by a Supra Reppresentative] -- John Lindwall lindwall@cs.ucsd.edu "Oh look at me! I'm all flooby! I'll be a son of a gun!" -- Flaming Carrot
