jms@vanth.UUCP (Jim Shaffer) (04/17/91)
I just read an article in ".info" about a new commercial BBS called PDN which is supposed to have very low rates, network nodes in each state, and a large and active Amiga area (including plans to put the Fish CD online!) The article gave an 800 number to call for more information. It didn't say whether the number was data or voice, though. Before I call, does anyone have any experience with this system? Specifically, when they say they have nodes in each state, how many are we talking about per state? Are they using an existing net or running their own? And are there surcharges for anything, or is it *all* the low rates? -- * From the disk of: | jms@vanth.uucp | "You know I never knew Jim Shaffer, Jr. | amix.commodore.com!vanth!jms | that it could be so 37 Brook Street | uunet!cbmvax!amix!vanth!jms | strange..."
